About Anjali
Hi, I'm Anjali.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and building a future therapy practice focused on supporting women of color navigating anxiety, relationships, identity, burnout, cultural expectations, grief, and life transitions.
Long before I began formal counseling training, I was fascinated by the ways people make meaning of their lives. Why do some people feel deeply connected to themselves while others feel disconnected? Why do we repeat certain patterns in relationships? How do we navigate grief, change, uncertainty, and the complicated process of becoming who we are?
Those questions have followed me throughout my life and career.
Professionally, my background has included law, coaching, wellness, fitness, yoga, and writing.
While these experiences may appear different on the surface, they have all been connected by a common thread: a deep interest in human growth, resilience, self-understanding, and the choices people make when they find themselves at a crossroads.
As a woman of color...
I also understand the unique ways culture, family expectations, identity, belonging, responsibility, and community can shape how we move through the world. Many women spend years carrying expectations that leave little room to understand what they themselves need, want, or feel. Therapy offers an opportunity to slow down, listen more closely to yourself, and develop a deeper and more compassionate relationship with who you are.
My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, curious, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with self-understanding. I do not believe therapy is about becoming someone else. I believe it is about developing the insight, awareness, and self-trust necessary to live more authentically as yourself.
When I’m not working or studying, you’ll likely find me traveling, writing, practicing yoga, spending time in nature, or exploring new corners of the world.
I believe therapy can be one of the most meaningful investments we make in ourselves, and I’m grateful to be building a career centered around that work.
I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey.
